Woodralyn Cherie Smith-Adegbola
1974 - 2024

Woodralyn Cherie Smith (Cissy or Boo), was born on March 12, 1974 in Houston, Texas to Woodrow and Linda Smith.  She grew up in Houston with her parents and brother.  Her love for band started at Kirby Middle School and she continued to pursue her love for it until she graduated from Forest Brook High School.  She continued her education at Prairie View A&M in Accounting.  In 1995, she joined The Church Without Walls along side her mother and father.

In 2015, Woodralyn met Francis Adegbola and they married in January of 2016.  She became a stepmother to his four loving children.

She leaves behind her husband Francis Adegbola and her four stepchildren, Coyote, Deborah, Faith, and Eliajih Adegbola, her mother and father Linda and Woodrow Smith, her two brothers Jason Smith and Michael Green (Martha), her sister Pamela Andres (James), six nieces Ineshia, Chazzla, Frantasia, Ashli, Jashawna, and Jacey, two nephews Keilo and Jaden, four great nieces, and three great nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

One thing Sissy loved the most was her family and would do anything for them.

Celebration of  life will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024.  Viewing will be held at 10 am followed by funeral service starting at 11 am, at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N. Wayside Dr, Houston, TX 77028.

Interment will take place at Paradise South Cemetery, 2237 Cullen Blvd., Pearland, TX 77581.
