Walter Douglas Tuner, born on June 26, 1948, in Natchez, Mississippi, passed away on December 27, 2024. Walter proudly served in the United States Army, dedicating a part of his life to his country. A devout Catholic, his funeral service will be held at St. Benedict Catholic Church, located at 4025 Grapevine St, Houston, TX 77045. January 4, 2025, a viewing will commence at 8:00 am, followed by the Rosary from 9:00 am to 9:15 am, and the Mass will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will occur at Houston National Cemetery on January 6, 2025, with a gate time of 9:30. Walter's legacy as a veteran and his contributions to his community will be fondly remembered.
