Vernon Warren Waid - age 75, was born February 26, 1942 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the parentage of Samuel Wade and Inez Scott Wade. He passed away on September 30, 2017 in a local hospital in Humble, Texas.
Vernon leaves to cherish fond memories of him, a loving wife Julia R. Waid, his children, and many other close relatives and friends.
Services will be held Friday, October 6, 2017. Viewing will be from 10am to 10:55am - followed by 11am funeral service at Word of Life Outreach Church, 11230 Homestead Rd., Houston, TX 77016 - Pastor Derrick Gamble, officiating.
Burial will take place at Houston National (VA) Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038 - 1:45pm gate time.
