Vernell Stanley was born March 2, 1932, to loving parents Walter Carr and Dimple Sweat in Groveton, Texas.

On March 17, 2021, Vernell was called home to rest in the arms of our Lord and Savior.  She leaves to cherish loving memories to all who loved and knew her.

A celebratory service honoring her life will be held:

Wake service Friday, March 26, 2021, 5:00 pm 8:00 pm at Duncan Mortuary Chapel located at 5806 N. Wayside Dr. Houston Texas 77028

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021, 11:00 am at Onalaska First Assembly located at 246 Old Trinity Road South Onalaska, Texas 77360

Interment: St. Andrews Cemetery ( Onalaska, Texas)
