Tevonja Yvetta Brooks' Obituary
On November 16, 1962, a baby girl was born to Sterling August Brooks and Alma Cooper Brooks in Houston, Texas. She was affectionately named Tevonja Yvetta.
On November 30, 2017, Tevonja passed away from her earthly home to be with our Heavenly Father. She will take her final journey where loved ones who have already received their wings are waiting to welcome her at heaven's door.
She leaves behind to cherish precious memories of her, a loving daughter Chiquita Brooks, and other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
Memories of her will be celebrated on Saturday, December 9, 2017. Visitation will began at 10am, followed by funeral service at 11am. Both services will be held at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 1615 Patterson St., Houston, Texas 77007. Pastor Gregory Johnson, Officiant.
Burial will take place at Cemetery Beautiful, 8401 Wheatley St., Houston, Texas 77088.
