Tammy Lynn Criswell
1963 - 2022

On May 27, 1963 a baby girl was born in Livingston, Polk County, Texas to loving parents Allen Wilson Criswell and Annie Mae Hooper Criswell.

She was raised in Shepherd, Texas where she attended school and graduated from Shepherd ISD in 1981.

As a child Tammy was baptized at Mays Chapel United Methodist Church in Cleveland, Texas.  As an adult Tammy joined Garner Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas.  When Tammy moved to Pasadena, Texas she joined Impact Kingdom Center in Houston, Texas where she attended until her health began to fail.

For many years Tammy was an employee at Florida Kitchen in Livingston, Texas.  When she moved to Pasadena, she worked at Goodyear Plant and later was employed by the Kemp School where she worked until she became ill.

Tammy departed this life and entered eternal rest  on May 29, 2022.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Annie Mae and Allen Wilson Criswell; siblings, Wallace Hooper, Larry Criswell, and Brenda Caldwell; grandparents, Georgia and Cleveland Hooper; aunts, Earsell Branch (Buster), Ruby Hubbard (Curtis), Carrie Lee Cooper (Nehemiah), Lucille Cooper (JW), and Estella Ellis; uncles, Lester Greenleaf (Lilly), Henry Harrison, Jr., BT Turner, and Lonnie Hood; cousins, Elizabeth Hayes, Debbie Hill, Janice Sophus, Betina Davis, and Tyrone Cooper.

Tammy leaves to cherish her memory:  Son, Brandon Jones, and granddaughters, Baylei and Brielle Jones; sisters, Sophie Jones (Felix), Kara Punch (Kenneth); brothers, Carl Scott, and Curtis Criswell; aunts, Ernestine Turner, Mary Hood, and Lucy Amie; uncle Jerry Hooper (Fran); nieces and nephews, Allen Criswell (Covie), Joshua Rawls (Camille), Crystal Scott, Darius Scott, Rodney Hayes, Roderick Hayes, Michael Benton, Alannis Joseph, Tiffany Hill, Yvonne Sophus, Siobhan Sophus-Davis, Tyrena Booker, Darius Mayes, Roderick Hayes, Jr., Nehemiah Hayes, Ava Hayes, and Khalid Punch; cousins, Kenny Cooper, Kevin Cooper, Shelia Green, Stephanie Furr, Tim Turner, Dawn Perkins, Fontella Hooper, Pamela Patton, and Tony Hooper; friend Deirdre Hines, and a host of many other nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022.  Viewing from 10 am to 10:55am, followed by funeral service at 11 am. Service will be held at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N. Wayside Dr., Houston, Texas 77028.  Bishop Eldridge Nickson, Eulogist.
