Sylvia D. Felix

1961-2022

Sylvia Denise Felix was born to Sam and Eva White. She was the eldest of eight children.

She accepted the Lord as her savior at an early age. She attended Forest Brook High School. She loved to dance and be around her family.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents Sam and Eva White. Her brothers Sam White Junior, Benjamin Hudson Junior, and Ronald White. Her sister Anita White. Her grandson Narada Washington.

Sylvia is survived by children RoaKeshia Russell-Felix, Michelle and Richard Brooks, Ernestine Felix and Reggie Fortson, and Justin Butler. Her sisters Cheryl White, Tira Hudson, Rachel Hudson, and Shawn Bennett. Her grandchildren D'Ivyon Felix, Alaycia Felix, Essence Morris, Anya Washington Nyjai Washington, and India Buttle. Her great-grandchildren Khaleesi Felix-Gray, Karter Batts, and Eternity Batts. Her nieces Yolanda (Dave), Eva (Osh), Ieshia (Patrick), Lakeitha, Shawndrekia, Jatranae, My'Kira, and Hanna. Her nephews Jamarcus, Antwone, James, Deundre, and Christrain. A host of great Nieces and Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins of the Felix, Hudson, and White family.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, with a viewing, starting at 10:00 am followed by an 11:00 am funeral service, at Duncan Mortuary Chapel located at 5806 N. Wayside Dr. Houston, Texas 77028.
