Skytaurus Wilkins Porter was born on September 11, 1979, to the union of Melvin and Barbara Wilkins in Houston, Texas 77053. Skytaurus Wilkins Porter received her formal education at Fort Bend at Willowridge High School in Houston, Texas. She furthered her education at Houston Community College in Houston, Texas. Skytaurus Wilkins Porter accepted Christ at an early age and was united with First South Main Baptist Church. Skytaurus Wilkins was united in holy matrimony with Carl Porter, Sr., on May 11, 2007, in Houston, Texas. Their union was blessed with Carl Porter, Jr. She was employed by Kindercare Daycare as an assistant director for three years. In her leisure, she enjoyed cooking, movie watching, singing, and dancing. Skytaurus Wilkins Porter departed this life on October 20, 2020. She was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Rufus and Nellie Bates; and grandparents, Quincy, and Lillie Bates, and Milam, and Pearlie Wilkins. She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Carl Porter, Sr.; son, Carl Porter, Jr.; father and mother, Melvin and Barbara Wilkins; father and mother-in-law, Mike and Vernita Huery; three brothers, Melvin, Jr., Dominique, and Cordelro, Sr.; four nieces; three nephews; three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a host of aunts, uncles, family, and friends.

Services will be held on Wednesday October 28, 2020 starting with a 9:30 am viewing followed by an 11:00 am funeral which will be held at Real Life Christian Church located on 3635 Almeda Genoa Houston, Texas
