On the bright and blessed day of December 30, 1963, a beautiful baby girl was born to the proud parents of Robert Jack Carroll and Katie Vivian Joe in Houston, Texas. They lovingly named her Sharon Fay Carroll. She grew up in Houston, Texas where she attended MB Smiley High School. She was a member of the Class of 1982.
Sharon enjoyed singing and laughing with friends and family. She liked sports and classical old school cars. One of her hobbies was restoring her 1964 Chevy Impala. She had a passion for music and loved Marilyn Monroe. She was an entrepreneur and owned Variety Bus Service.
Sharon met and married Tilson Jackson and to this union seven children were added. Sharon loved the Lord and it was reflected in the love for her children and grand children.
She departed this earthly life, making her transition into eternal rest on Sunday, February 14, 2016. She is preceded in death by both parents, Robert Jack Carroll and Katie Vivian Joe; two brother: Ronald Keith Carroll and Russell Lynn Carroll.
She leaves a lifetime of precious memories with her seven children: Josiah, Tilson Jr., Aaron, Irresha, Kevin, Ivan, and Isaac. She also leaves thirteen grand-children and several siblings with other family and friends.
Viewing will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. Both services will be held at Loving Word Fellowship; 170 Ritten House, Houston, Texas 77076. Pastor Paul Landrew, Officiating.
