Sammie Mae Ruffin was born on August 15, 1949 to the union of Annie Mae Green and Sam Ruffins in Cass County, Texas.  She attended and graduated school in the  Houston Independent School District.  She accepted Christ at an early age.  She loved cooking, cleaning and spending time with her family.  Sammie will truly be missed as she was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, February 18, 2019.  She will be laid to rest on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 1:00 pm.  Service will be held at Duncan Mortuary Chapel 5806 N Wayside Dr., Houston, Texas 77028.  Officiating will be Rev. B. K. Williams.  Interment will be Houston Memorial Garden Cemetery.
