On February 4, 1934,  Leroy and Mandy Hudson of Shongaloo, Louisiana celebrated the birth of a son, they named him Saddis.  He grew up under the influence and guidance of his parents and was educated in public school.  Saddis confessed Christ at an early age.  Later he moved to Houston, Texas where he was employed by Moncrief Lenoir Manufacturing Company.

Saddis married Emma Lee Latin of Gloster, Louisiana.  They would remain faithful to the bonds of Holy Matrimony until his death.  Their marriage would produce 5 children;  Jeannie Hudson, Fred C. Latin, Linda Boleware, Randy Latin (Debra), and Lisa Hudson, all of Houston, Texas.

He was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church until his death.

Saddis made his final transition from this earthly life into eternal rest on Saturday, January 14, 2017.

In addition to his wife and children, Saddis leaves to cherish his memories; 2 brothers, Cornelius Hudson of Sacramento, California, and T.W. Hudson of Cullen, Louisiana; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and very close friends.

His Life Legacy will be honored and celebrated on Saturday, January 21, 2017.  Visitation from 10 to 10:55am - Funeral service at 11am.  Services will be held at Mt. Herman Missionary Baptist Church, 3215 Kentucky St., Houston, Texas 77026 - Rev. Lonnie Herb-Pastor, and Pastor  L.C. Sidney of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Eulogist.

Interment will take place in Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery (Pearland, Texas).
