Ronald Lynn Curry
1965-2011
Ronald Lynn Curry, a longtime resident of Houston, Texas, unexpectedly entered eternal
rest on July 11, 2022. Ron was born on December 30, 1965, to Thaddeus and Vivian Bell Curry in LaMarque,
Texas.
Ron graduated from Jack Yates High School in Houston, Texas. He received a Bachelor
of Science degree in Psychology from Texas Southern University and a Master of
Business Administration degree from Jack Welch Management Institute at Strayer
University. Ron was a proud member of the Lanier Middle School, Jack Yates High School, Texas
Southern University, and Strayer University alumni associations.
He accepted Christ as his savior at an early age and grew up in a Christian home. Ron
was a dedicated member of Fallbrook Church in Houston, Texas where he served in the
Men of Valor and Sons of Valor Ministries, the Sunday Greeters team, and the Tuesday
Night Men's Bible Study group. He was also known to volunteer in other ministries when
needed.
His parents and a sibling preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife Jolie, his children Cierra, Nicholas, Ryan, Kayla, Jayla,
and Anderson of Houston, Texas; brother Reginald Curry (Terry) of Humble, Texas; aunt
Beverly Bell of LaMarque, Texas; uncle Lathaniel Bell (Janice) of Fresno, Texas; a
nephew, a niece, several cousins, and a host of friends and colleagues.
He will be greatly missed by
Memorial Services will take place on July 29, 2022, at 1:00 pm.
