Randy Bernard Hayes

1959-2023

Randy Bernard Hayes, AKA "Ballie", "Cowboy", "Uncle B", "B" was born to Barbara and Elo Hayes on February 10. 1959.  He attended school in the Houston Independent School District. After school, he worked along with his brothers in the family masonry business.

He united with Universal Church of God in Christ in March 1993.

While Randy did not have any kids of his own, he loved his nieces and nephews and would do anything for his family and beloved his dog "Bullet"

In 2019, Randy was involved in a life-altering accident, but he persevered despite the odds.

In true cowboy spirit, he fought a good fight.

He truly was a MAMA's boy. When his mother was called home, he ran as fast as he could to meet her at the pearly gates. He departed this life on May 18, 2023.

Randy was preceded in death by his father Elo Hayes, siblings Gery Roberts and Janice Hayes special cousin Bruce Roberts and nephew Corey Hayes.

He leaves to cherish his brothers Stanley, Clarence, Tony, Larry (Jeanelle), Colby (nephew raised as a brother), stepbrother James Rivers, special cousins Derek Russaw and Angela Cone, and host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at South Park Baptist Church, 5830 Van Fleet St., Houston, Texas 77033.

Viewing will start at 10 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am.

Interment will take place in Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Pearland, Texas.
