On November 29, 1994, God blessed Arthur R. & Secunda Givens with a beautiful baby girl and named her Paris Renae Givens in Houston, TX. Paris accepted Christ at an early age and faithfully attended The Luke Church under the leadership of Dr. Timothy W. Sloan.

Paris graduated from North Shore Senior High School and was a proud Mustang graduate (Class of 2013). She then went on to Prairie View A&M University, where she studied Business Management. She took her love and passion for cheer to another level and became a competitive cheer coach for several competitive cheer clinics in the Houston area. After interviewing with Stars Vipers Cheer & Tumbling Katy, she found her forever home under the direction of Owen & Denise Cox. She flourished and thrived in her calling, "Ministering to the kids."

Paris's passion for being a "Boss" inspired her to birth her businesses Get Bodi Hair Co. and Paris Tea Co. Her businesses were very successful and allowed her to expand her entrepreneurial mindset. She was a dedicated advocate for her students and community.

Paris is proceeded in death by her grandparents Frank & Betty Jelks, her father Arthur Givens, her uncle Durbin Jelks and a special friend Marcus Sam.

Paris leaves to cherish her legacy and memories: Her loving and devoted parents, Marcus and Secunda Bailey, her siblings: Chloe, Martica, and Marcus Bailey, Jr., Crissy and Keysheo Givens, furry child Loki and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022.  A viewing will begin at 10 am followed by a funeral service at 11:30 am.  Both services will be held at Praise Christian Center World Church, 1100 Dell Dale Ave., Houston, Texas 77530.
