1948-2023

On, November 14, 1948, this beautiful baby girl was born to the proud parents of Leo Franciso and Octavia Countee of Houston, Texas. They named her Ollie.

Ollie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She dedicated her life to helping others. She worked as a nurse at Park Plaza and retired from Kelsey Seybold Clinic.

However, her pride and joy were her family. Ollie was united in holy matrimony to Leon Bulter, and from this union one son Frederick was born. She has a host of nieces and nephews who she joined on many vacations.

In the early hours of November 17, Ollie left this world and joined her mother, father, sister Billie Archie, Barbara Turner, and Faye Countee. She also joined two brothers Johnny Countee, and Steve Countee.

She leaves to mourn one brother Leo Countee surrounded by his nieces Monica Hollway, Terri Foster, Vivan Tuner, Catherine Turner, and Octavia Archie, and one nephew Chris Countee along with a host of great-great nieces and nephews.

Service for Mrs. Ollie Butler will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Church of the Living God, 7950 East Houston.

A viewing will be held at 10:00 am followed by a 11:00 am Funeral Service.

Interment: Private.
