Malcolm "Paco" D. Mims entered this world a happy bouncing baby boy on March 5, 2002, to parents Wanise Collins and Cedric Mims. Growing up in East Houston and Trinity Gardens, Malcolm was a loving young man who never ended a conversation, phone call, or text without saying "I Love You."

Malcolm attended Houston Public Schools, excelling in the classroom and earning a diploma in general studies from North Shore Sr. High School before continuing his education at San Jacinto College. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved animals and working with his hands.

On March 10, 2025, Malcolm was embraced and welcomed by his Lord and Savior. He reunites with his maternal great-grandparents Florinza and Willie C. Wilson, uncles Calvin and Craig Wilson, cousin Christopher Devain Harland, paternal great-grandmother Geraldine Mims (Nana), and paternal uncle Anthony Marquis Mims.

Malcolm leaves behind to cherish his memories his mother Wanise Collins, father Cedric Mims, stepfather Alfred Dennis, sister Brianna, brother Richard Mims III, uncle Darrion Dennis, maternal grandparents Leola and Douglas Collins, paternal grandparents Sandra and Richard Mims, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

As we bid farewell to Malcolm "Paco" Mims, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue in the hearts of all who were touched by his kindness and unwavering love.
