Lynn Corine Brown was the youngest of 5 siblings, born to Scott and Larcie Qualls. She was born on September 27, 1960, in Houston, TX. Lynn was educated in the North Forest Independent School District. She was a highly involved student at Forest Brook High School. One of her many roles included being the captain of the Jaguarettes. Once graduating high school, she attended Sam Houston State University majoring in dance. Lynn had a true passion for dancing.

At an early age, Lynn dedicated her life to Christ at a young age at Fontaine Baptist church. She strengthened her walk with Christ by way of Northland Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor F. L. Fillmore.

Lynn later became an active, faithful, loving member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church where she served as Kingdom Kidz Youth Director for several years under the leadership of Pastor Kelton Henderson. The Mt. Olive Baptist Church family will miss her vibrant, energetic, and loving spirit; it will never be the same without her.

Lynn labored for over 30 years in education with North Forest Independent School District as The Dancing Colleens Director, Houston Independent School District, and Aldine Independent School District the director of the Ladies of Distinction. In her death, she was employed by the Aldine Independent School District at Houston Academy, where she worked tirelessly to encourage, educate, and support the students and staff.

In her leisure, she enjoyed singing, dancing, shopping, spa days, spending time with friends and family, dancing, and most of all bragging about her grandchildren. Working with the ladies of distinction at Houston academy.

Lynn departed this life on April 7, 2021. She was preceded in death by Scott Lee Qualls (Father), Tommy Lee Qualls (Brother), and Larcie Smith (Sister).

She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving husband Jesse Brown, Larcie Qualls (mother), Bennie (Shirley) Qualls (brother), Dennis (Lisa) Qualls (brother), Sierra (Eric) Cerf (daughter), Crystal (Garland) Thompson (daughter), Tramiesha Brown (stepdaughter) and Lanitra Brown (stepdaughter), Garland Thompson, Jr. (Grandson), Gavin 'Chocolate Drop' Thompson (Grandson), Grayland Thompson (Grandson), Eric 'EJ' Cerf (Grandson), Erin 'Bean' Cerf (Granddaughter), nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
