Lucille Jones Williams was born August 13, 1938 in Gahagan, Louisiana.
Later in life she moved to Houston, Texas, where she met and married her late husband John W. Williams. Mrs. Williams was known as the nice lady from the Settegast neighborhood center where she taught many of the kids from the community. She was still teaching Sunday School until her health began to fail. On February 19, 2018, she was called home to be with her Lord and Savior. She will truly be missed by many. Services will be on Saturday, February 24, 2018, viewing will be held from 11 until 12pm. Followed by a noon Funeral service. Both services will be at New Mt. Pleasant MBC 5318 Tommye St., Houston, Texas 77028. Rev. Paul Tatum Officiating. Interment - Golden Gate Cemetery.
