1928-2023

Louis Adams arrived in this world on April 19, 1928, and was gracefully met with love from his parents Viola Adams  and Porter Adams . Louis was born in Woodville Texas but spent his life journey in Houston Texas.

Louis, who was most known for being called "Old Man", loved his morning coffee, bubble gum and cookies. Uncle Louis more than anything loved going to church every Sunday at Greater New Canaan Baptist church, where he was a faithful member for years.

On July 4, 2023 our beloved Uncle Louis Adams soul departed from this life to rest in heaven.  Louis was preceded in death by both parents, Viola & Porter Adams; brother, Earnest Adams; sister, Creola Woods; and his Beloved Sis-In-Law Izola Adams who took care of him.

He leaves, to cherish in his loving memory; sister, Ettie Lee Cole; along with family members, Anderson Woods, Viola Cole, Patricia Young, Earnest F. Adams, Corte Adams, Russell Adams, and a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews along with other realtives and friends.

Services for Mr. Adams will be held on Saturday July 15, 2023 at Greater New Canaan Baptist Church. 7518 Bywood Street Houston , Texas 77028. A viewing will held at 10:00 am followed by a 11:00 am Funeral.
Interment: Lilly Island Cemetery.
