Lois Washington was born on April 30, 1953 to Earnest and Orish Washington Sr. in Houston, TX. Lois attended public school in Houston area.
She worked as a Home Health Provider for many years. Lois accepted the gift of salvation at New Light Church. She was the life of the party and all the family gatherings; she enjoyed dancing, singing and lots of great food.
Lois was preceded in death by her father, Earnest Washington and two brothers: Lonnie and Quinton Washington. She leaves too cherish her memories and story telling, two children Latrice Spates and Kirk Washington (Tanya), mother Orish Washington; four brothers Larry (Gwen), Earnest (Rhonda), Terry and Jonathan (LaVerne). She also leaves to cherish her life four sisters: Theresa Grinstead (Larry), Laura Mitchell (James), Jacqueline Creeks (Ronald), and Veronica Cotton (Albert); a special aunt Edna McAfee and uncle Ray Anthony Lawrence (uncle Ricky). Several grand children and great grand children. A special friend, Harold Montgomery, a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mrs. Lois Washington services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10:00 am. Viewing will began at 9:00 am. Both services will be held at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N Wayside Dr., Houston, TX 77028. Interment will be private.
