Linda Diane Dampier Posey, a cherished member of her family, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026, in Webster, Texas. She was born on September 28, 1947, to loving parents Virgil Dampier and Barbara Hastings Dampier in Wisner, Louisiana.  Linda's life spanned nearly eight decades marked by grace, kindness, and a quiet strength that touched all who knew her.

Her presence brought comfort and warmth, leaving behind a lasting impression on her family and friends. Her memory will continue to inspire kindness and love in all who were fortunate enough to know her

Her final farewell will be observed with a Funeral Service on May 5, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, held at Duncan Mortuary, located at 5806 N Wayside Dr, Houston, Texas, 77028 - Pastor Steve Vickery, officiating.  

She shall be laid to rest at Forest Park East Cemetery - Webster, Texas.
