Karen Lois Kiel was born to the late Conrell Sr. and Ann Kiel on October 1, 1960 in New Iberia, Louisana.

Karen later met and married the love of her life, Johnny Ray Anderson. To this 30 year matrimonial union six children were born. Karen was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grand mother and so much more too many others.

Karen never met a stranger and could always be seen with a smile. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Karen attended public school in the North Forest School District where she graduated from former Forest Brook High School. Karen worked for Metro as a Bus Driver for over thirty years, until she retired in 2008.

Karen was preceded in death by both parents, Conrell Kiel Sr. and Ann Kiel King; two brothers, Conrell Kiel Jr. and Stephen Hurst; a brother-in-law, Henry Earl Anderson and a sister-in-laws, Estelle Anderson.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, husband, Johnny Anderson Sr.; two daughters: Jonna Kiel-Mack (Richard) and Johnnyca Anderson ( Tony Velasquez); four sons: Johnny Anderson Jr., Jonathan Anderson, Johnny Holmes Sr., and Brandon Holmes. She also leaves to cherish her precious memories several siblings and grandchildren and favorite aunt, Rosa Bell Keil Crosby. Karen will truly be missed by all other family members and friends.

Karen Anderson viewing will be held Saturday, January 9, 2015 at 10:00 AM and funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM. Both services will be at Bethany Baptist Church, 7304 Homestead Rd, Houston, Texas 77028. Dr. Steve W. Hall, Sr. Pastor.
