On the 22nd day of February in 1942, a baby girl was born to loving parents Lee Joseph White and Mary Adrienne Rivette White in Arnaudville, Louisiana.  They affectionately named her Joyce Marie.

She was well know to many who loved and knew her as "Lil Chief".  She enjoyed cooking and served many in the restaurant industry.  Memories of her will always remain in the hearts of all who loved her.

Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019.  Visitation from 9 to 10:45 am followed by funeral service at 11 am.  Services will be held at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N. Wayside Dr., Houston, Texas 77028.  Pastor Keith Warner, Officiant.

Burial will take place on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 - 11:00 am,  at Houston National (VA) Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, Texas 77038.
