Johnnie Lee Standokes, known as "Johnny Boy", departed this life in a Houston, Texas Hospital on November 12, 2015 after a short illness.
He was born on October 9, 1941 to Johnnie and Luvenia Standokes in Cotton Valley, Louisiana where is attended school. He later moved to Houston, Texas.
He was preceded in death by both parents; a son, Jerry Wayne Standokes; three brothers and two sisters.
He leaves in passing, his wife Bertha Standokes; four daughters, Debra Walker (Forrest), Rosie Batton (Mike), and Lela Edwards, all of Texarkana, Texas and Sheila Standokes of Houston, Texas; four sons, James Standokes of Texarkana, Texas, Johnny Earl Standokes, Mikey Standokes (Carol) of Houston, Texas, and Johnny Wayne Standokes of California; 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Willie T. of Virginia and L.T.; a sister Jessie of Louisiana; two sister in-laws of Louisiana and a sister in-law and brother in-law of Kansas City, Missouri; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 21, 2015 (1PM), at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N. Wayside Dr., Houston, TX., Pastor Brown officiating.
Interment Private.
