Dunham

1932-2023

James Lee "Boo" Dunham was born on October 17, 1932, in Leggett, Tx. to the late Johnny Dunham and Selestine Robinett Dunham.

He served in the United States Army and worked as a Chief Tool Inspector for most of his career.

His hobbies included fishing and playing dominoes.

He leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters; Cheryl (Dunham) Cheatom; Nelda (Dunham) Newton (Mickel); and Cynthia (Dunham)Clark, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. Sisters: Alice M. Johnson, Johnnie Mae Pratt, Carolyn Vanderbilt and Barbara Gooden-Smith.  Brother:  Donald Ray Dunham and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his son Darrell Platenburg and James "Kenny" Dunham; sisters Jewell Criswell, and Ester Mae Watkins, and brothers F.L. Dunham, John F Dunham, and Lee Russell Dunham.

Services for Mr. Dunham will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Duncan Mortuary, 5806 N, Wayside Dr, Houston, Texas 77028.

Viewing will be held from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm followed by an Interment at Houston National Cemetery.
