James Earlist Bryier affectionately known as BooBoo was born on May 4, 1937, in Camden, Texas to the late B. J. Bryier and Lettie Lee Toston.
James (aka BOOBOO) loved dancing, cooking, cleaning, and enjoying family time with his nieces and nephews. James (aka BooBoo) played a big part in raising all his nieces, nephews, and some great-nieces and nephews. He just loved having fun with his family.

James departed this life on February 2, 2024. He was preceded in death by B.J. Bryier (father),
Lettie Lee Toston (mother), Bobbie Jean Grant (sister), Belinda Sue Meeks (sister), Raymond Earl
Freeman (brother) and Dalphine Rochelle Freeman (niece).

He leaves wonderful memories and love to his one brother -n- law Roy Grant Sr., four nieces, and three nephews Cynthia Grant, Barbara Grant, Bridget Grant, Gwendolyn Freeman, Willie Meeks, Roy Grant Jr, and Ira Grant. Along with a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and
relatives. James will be missed tremendously by all who knew him. His laugh, smile, and angelic
spirit will forever ring in the hearts of all.

Rest in peace uncle, we know you are in a better place, and one day we shall meet again

Services for Mr. James Bryier will take place on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N.Wayside Dr, Houston, Texas 77028.

With a viewing starting at 10:00 a.m. followed by an 11:00 a.m. f uneral service.
