Jaqueline Ann Hayes
Affectionately known as "Jackie"; Jacqueline Ann Cooper was born on July 31, 1960, to Floyd Cooper Sr. and Ruby Deloach Cooper.  She graduated from M.B. Smiley High School and worked with K & K Group home for many years as she loved to take care of others
Jackie warmed the hearts of her family and friends with her dimples and winning smile, she loved music, and she also loved to dance and cook.  She was a very smart lady, full of life and her spirits were always high; despite her battle, she soldiered on, always with a kind word and a blessing, and she will truly be missed.
Jacqueline was proceeded in death by her son, Sonshun Cooper, her daughter Lawanda Cooper, her father Floyd Cooper Sr., and her mother Ruby Cooper.
She leaves behind to cherish her remembrance; her son David Hayes, her daughter Jacqueline "Monique" High, her son in Law Deandre High, her granddaughter Imoni Cooper, her grandson Sonshun High, her granddaughter Shamarolyn High, her brothers Reginald Bonier, Floyd Cooper Jr., Paul Cooper, and Dewey Cooper.  Her sisters Renita Hunter, Karen Cooper, and Ruby Cooper, and a host of family and friends.

Services will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 1:30 pm, in Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N. Wayside Dr., Houston, Texas 77028.

Interment - Private.

In light of concerns regarding the community spread of COVID-19, Duncan Mortuary strongly urge that, per some church and cemetery instructions, services, and burials are being subjected to adhere to CDC guidelines to avoid groups of no more than 75 people at church and gravesite.  Gatherings will consist of family members and friends at your discretion.  We request your assistance in communicating and adhering to the guidelines when requested by the church and cemetery officials.
