Obituary

Izola Walter, best known as " Lil Lady " , was born on October 23, 1932 to Archie Walter and Mamie Hardaway. She was born in Camden Texas.
In 1951, Izola married Earnest Adams, and together, they birthed six children – three girls and three boys: Patricia Adams Young, Earnest F. Adams, Wilma Joyce Adams, Esther Adams, Corte Adams, and Russell Adams. " Lil Lady " was best known for her quite demeanor and willingness to caring for others as her own.
On March 17, 2020 Izola Walter Adams departed this life. She was preceded in death by her parents; two of her children; five sisters, and three brothers.
She leaves, to cherish her memory: her four remaining children; nine grand-children; twenty-one great grandchildren; three great-great
grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Viewing Saturday, March 28, 2029 - 11 am, at Greater New Canaan Baptist Church, 7518 Bywood St., Houston, Texas 77028.  Pastor Earl Edwards, in charge of service.

In light of concerns regarding the community spread of COVID-19,  Duncan Mortuary strongly urge that per some church and cemetery instructions, services and burials are being subjected to adhere to CDC guidelines to avoid groups of no more than 10 people at church and the grave site.  Gatherings will consist of family members at your discretion.  We request your assistance in communicating and adhering to this guideline  when requested by church and cemetery officials.
