Ivory P. Smith's Obituary
Mrs. Ivory Smith - 87 years, was born to Johnnie and Tempie Washington Pamilton in Leesville, Louisiana. She was the older sister to one remaining sister, Reather Sanders of Lovelady, Texas.
Ivory departed this life on October 13, 2016 in St. Joseph Hospital of Houston, Texas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to all who knew her. She touched the lives of many people in her profession as a nurse and a loving person. She will be forever missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Smith, a daughter JoAnna Smith, 2 sons Moses L. Pyles and Clarence Smith.
She is survived by her children: Magdnalene Franklin Holmon, Maxsenior Alfred, Ida Smith (Rickey), Charles R. Smith, Elijah Smith, George W. Smith (Renee), Sharon Smith, and sister Reather Sanders. She also leaves to mourn numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Services will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 - 11am, at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N. Wayside Dr., Houston, Texas 77028 - Minister Alfred Dwayne Hunt, Eulogist.
Interment Private.
