Harvey Franklin Sims Sr., age 87 years, passed away on March 26, 2019 in Houston, Texas.  He was born on November 24, 1931 to loving parents Lawson Sims and Ethel King Sims in Crockett, Texas.  He served his country and was a member of the US Army.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019.  Visitation will start at 10 am followed by funeral service at 11 am.  Both services will be held at Duncan Mortuary Chapel. 5806 N. Wayside Dr., Houston, Texas 77028.

Burial will take place at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, Texas 77038.
