Harden-Marshall
1956 - 2022

Glenda Dale Harden-Marshall was born in Houston, Texas on the 13th day of November in the year 1956. She was born to loving parents, Sherman Sr., and Thelma Mae Taylor-Harden, who preceded her in death.

Glenda was raised in the Settegast community where she attended A. G. Hilliard Elementary School, Settegast Middle School, and B.C. Elmore High School.  She was a proud graduate of Forest Brook Senior High School (home of the mighty Jaguars), in May of 1975. She would go on to attend Texas Southern University, and Massey Business College where she received her certification in business.  She worked many years with the Houston Police Department in the Records Division until she retired.

Glenda was raised up from a little child at Norton Memorial Temple Church of God In Christ under late Elder R. L. Norton, who was the founder.  She would also attend in her adult life under several other appointed pastors.

Glenda married the love of her life James Marshall who was also her high school sweetheart.  They were blessed with 2 loving children, Erica and James.

Glenda leaves to cherish loving memories of her to:  Her loving husband of many years James, 2 loving children Erica (Daryl), James (Lorena); 5 grandchildren, Daryl Jr., Trenton, Lillian, Arie, and Cullen; 3 brothers, 5 sisters, 4 sister in-laws, 3 brother in-laws, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, many other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022.  Viewing will begin at 10 am followed by funeral service at 11 am.  Both services will be held at Norton Memorial Temple Church of God in Christ, 5008 Lucille St., Houston, Texas 77026.  Dr. Charles Hill, Pastor.  Bishop Sheldon Bady, Eulogist, Harvest Time Church.

She shall rest in Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2436 Cullen Blvd., Pearland, Texas 77581
