Gertrude Walker, born on July 5, 1959, in Houston, Texas, passed away on October 16, 2025. She leaves behind a loving and devoted husband, Kenneth Walker, and a family who cherished her deeply. Her son, Kendrick Walker, along with his wife Jalisa, and her bonus daughter, Connie Broussard, will forever hold her memory close. Gertrude was a proud grandmother to three granddaughters, Kylah, Kenslee, and Kehlani Walker. Her sister, Mary Williams, along with numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends, will miss her dearly.

Gertrude, affectionately known as 'Te-Te,' was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew her. Her infectious smile and warm spirit touched many lives, and she will be greatly missed.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, located at 5806 N.Wayside Dr, Houston, Texas 77028. Dr. E.J. Ball will officiate the service. Interment will be private.
