Gerald Malveaux, Sr.
1953 - 2020

Gerald Stephen Malveaux, Sr.,  was born July 11, 1953 in Houston, Texas to loving parents, Joseph Rushton and Mary Florita Malveaux. His mother fondly called him Jerry. Gerald's first memories were etched in Sunnyside, Southeast Houston.

On October 2, 2020, the Lord opened Heaven's gates and he was called to rest. He leaves behind to cherish lasting memories, a loving wife, loving children, loving siblings, and many other close relatives and friends whom all knew and loved him dearly.

Services for Gerald will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020.  Viewing for public will be held from 10 am to 10:45 am.  Private funeral service for family will began promptly at 11 am.  Both services will be held at The Church Without Walls, 5725 Queenston Blvd., Houston, Texas 77084 - Dr. Ralph Douglas West, Pastor.

Gerald Stephen Malveaux, Sr.  will be laid to rest at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery (Houston, Texas).

In light of concerns regarding the community spread of COVID-19, Duncan Mortuary strongly urge that, per some church and cemetery instructions, services and burials are being subjected to adhere to CDC guidelines to avoid groups of no more than 75 people at church and grave site.  Gatherings will consist of family members at their discretion.  We request your assistance in communicating and adhering to the guidelines when requested by church and cemetery officials.
