1958-2023

Freddy Ray Roberson was born on April 20, 1958, in Natchitoches, Louisiana to Leola Roberson. Upon his mother leaving Louisiana in pursuit of a better life he was raised by the late great Laura Roberson.

As a young boy, Freddy loved the great outdoors, fishing, crabbing/crawfishing, and doing all things that boys love to do. As a man he was a jack of all trades if it needed to be done no matter what it was Freddy was the man for the job. He possessed a passion to work with his hands & help others.

Freddy Ray Roberson leaves to cherish his memories three siblings Betty Roberson, Sammie Roberson, and Joyce Duncantel. Three children, Laura Tubbs, Xae Mitchell, Danielle Tubbs(Jr), and 1 special son he fathered as his own Gary Tubbs/Antron Freeman. Seven loving grandchildren, Zavier Franklin, Zaire Rivers,  Zaiden Whitlock, Epihany Tubbs, Khalid Tubbs, Tamya Durio, and Taushai Durio. A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A viewing will be held for Mr. Roberson on June 16, 2023, at Duncan Mortuary Chapel starting at 3:00 -4:00 pm. Followed by a 4:00 pm Funeral service.

He is predeceased in death by his mother Leola Roberson (Corine) his late wife Madie Yarbrough, his brother Dennis Roberson and his son Freddy Tubbs.

To know Freddy was to love him, his humor, honesty, and straightforwardness. He was a friend to all who knew him. We ask that those precious memories you keep near & dear to your heart.
