Frank C. Dorsey was born on March 17, 1952 in Alexandria, Louisiana to loving parents Henry Dorsey and Selma Ellis Dorsey.  He passed away on May 29, 2021 in Houston, Texas.

Frank attended Kashmere High School, where he studied woodshop and mechanic machinery. Later on Frank became a member at Greater Emmanuel Apostolic Church under the leadership of District Elder Willie E. Gibson.  Frank began his career at Exxon Mobil Corporation where he retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Jimmy Dorsey, Edward Dorsey, and Jerry Dorsey; 2 sisters, Willie Faye Dorsey, and Rebecca Dorsey; and 1 aunt Essie Chandler.

He leaves to mourn and celebrate his life;  3 daughters, Tonya (P),  Zandra (Frank), and Tasha; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter;  two sisters, Lessie Mitchell (Ralph), Selma Dorsey; three brothers, Henry Dorsey (Virginia), Ervin Dorsey, and Johnny Dorsey; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends who will miss him dearly.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021.  Viewing starting at 10 am followed by 11 am funeral service at Apostolic One Way Church. 9314 Hirsch Rd., Houston, TX 77016.  Pastor A. E. Hyde, Officiating

Interment at Golden Gate Cemetery.
