Flora Nell Perkins Gillyard was born December 13, 1940 to Elizabeth and Kenney Perkins in Welch, Louisiana.  Mrs. Gillyard accepted Christ at an early age and continued her journey serving her Lord and Savior throughout her life.  She loved to sing in church.  Flora Nell was passionate about fishing and cooking.  On Saturday, December 1, 2018 Flora Nell was called home to be with her Lord.  She will be laid to rest on Saturday, December 15, 2018.  A viewing will began at 10 am, immediately followed by an 11 am funeral service.   Both services will be held at Duncan Mortuary Chapel 5806 N Wayside Dr., Houston, Texas 77028.  Officiating is Pastor Raymond Hunt.  Interment will be Paradise North cemetery.
