Ester Lauverne Douglas, born on November 25, 1943, in Montgomery, Louisiana, passed away on October 2, 2024. She was a beloved member of her community and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held on October 12, 2024, at Mt. Canaan Missionary Baptist Church located at 7400 N. Wayside Dr, 77028. The viewing will begin at 10:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am, officiated by Pastor Compton. Esther will be laid to rest at Paradise South Cemetery.
