Essie Mae Ellis Chandler was born on July 25, 1928 in St. Landry, Louisiana to loving parents Frank and Morlanda Wright Ellis.  She was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 24, 2021.  She leaves behind to cherish loving memories of her to her loving children, grandchildren, and many other close relatives and friends.

Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021.  Viewing will start at 10am, followed by funeral service at 11am.  Services will be held at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 7818 Bonaire St., Houston, Texas 77028 - Pastor Lee E. Skinner.

Interment will take place at Golden Gate Cemetery - 8400 Hirsch Rd.,  Houston, Texas 77016.
