Emmitt Bailey was born on September 7, 1941 in Wharton, Texas to loving parents, Tillman Bailey and Mittie Ford Bailey.  He passed away on the 16th day of January, 2019 in the comfort of his home surrounded by loved ones.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019.  Visitation 9 am to 10:45 am followed by funeral service promptly at 11 am.  Both services will be held at Greater Pure Light Church, 12330 Vickery St., Houston, Texas 77039 - Pastor Darryl Broussard, officiating.

Interment in Brookside Memorial Park Cemetery (Eastex Fwy. @ Lauder Rd.) Houston, Texas.
