Edward Walker's Obituary
Edward Walker was born in Houston, Texas on September 27, 1960 to Melvin Broomfield and Mattie Walker. He attended Forest Brook High School in the former North Forest Independent School District.
On December 2, 2016, Edward went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ, at the age of 56. He passed away peacefully at Foundation Surgical Hospital of Houston, with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his parents; sisters Idell Young, and Gloria Jean Smith; and brothers Cleo Walker, Cecil Walker, and Rodney Walker.
He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Linda Maxie; his eight children Darryl Maxie, Jr., Darlyne Maxie, Stacey Maxie, Rolland Willis, Jasmine Maxie, Demarcus Anthony, Daren Maxie, and Daetra Maxie; thirteen grandchildren Darian Maxie, Lyndafaye Belvin, Isabel Aguirre, Robert Aguirre, Shaun Aguirre, Stacey Talbert, Darryl Maxie III, Leean Maxie, Hunter Talbert, Joshua Aguirre, Jaiden Willis, Kailyn Willis, and Wade Willis; sisters, Ladell Robinson, Rosalind Braxton (Slash Phats), and Demetria Erving; brothers Ronald Walker and Melvin Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016. Visitation starting at 10am followed by 11am funeral at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N. Wayside Dr., Houston, Texas 77028.
Interment Private.
