Edward King, Jr.
1941 - 2022

Edward King Jr ., was born on March 1, 1941 in Houston, Texas.  He was the son of the late Sidney Benjamin and Susie Mae Stewart.  He passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022 in Houston, Texas at the age of 81.

Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 2 p.m. at The Wortham Center, 501 Texas Ave., Houston, Texas 77002.  The family will receive friends beginning at 12 p.m., prior to the funeral service.  Pastor Samuel Compton, Sr., of Mt. Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, Houston, Texas will be officiating service.

Burial will take place on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 1 p.m., in Houston National (VA) Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, Texas 77038.
