Eddie Wayne Robinson was born on February 8, 1958, in Tipton, Tennessee, to Eddie Robinson and Hattie Robinson. Eddie was the youngest of fourteen siblings. Growing up in a large family taught him the value of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of family—qualities he carried with him throughout his life.

Eddie was a strong man who worked hard and faced life's challenges with courage and determination. No matter what obstacles came his way, he kept moving forward. He was a fighter, not because life was always easy, but because he refused to give up. His strength inspired those around him, and his resilience became one of the many qualities people admired most about him.

Above all, Eddie was a man of faith. He believed in God and trusted Him through both the good times and the difficult seasons. His faith gave him hope, guided his decisions, and carried him through life's greatest joys and deepest losses.

Eddie and Katie joined together in marriage and created a blended family of five children—two daughters and three sons. After the passing of Katie, Eddie married Erma, and together they welcomed her two daughters as part of their blended family.

Eddie's earthly journey ended on June 9, 2026, surrounded by family. Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and the mother of his children, Katie Robinson, five brothers, Emmanuel Robinson, James Robinson, Willie Gene Robinson, David Robinson, and Lonzo Robinson. Five sisters: Pearline Robinson, Edmorina Robinson, Lee Thelma Dunn, Katie Mae McGraw, Eva Mae Johnson.

Eddie leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Eric LaShawn Lee (Pam), Eddie Dewayne Robinson, Ethelius Robinson (Abigail), four daughters, Aleathea Benson, KaSonia Lawrence (Charles), Lawana Jerkins, Carneisha (Nene) Jerkins. Two brothers, Jerry Robinson (Gloria), Earnest Robinson (Sylvia), and one sister, Florine Reed (John). Eight grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Today, while our hearts are heavy with loss, we choose to remember the life he lived, the lessons he taught, and the love he shared. We remember his strength when times were tough, his great attitude when challenges arose, and his faith that never wavered. We remember the father, husband, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend who left a mark on all who knew him.

As we say goodbye, we find comfort in knowing that he fought the good fight of faith.
