He is survived by a son Colby Remond Jelks, sister Secunda Jelks Baily and other relatives and close friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N. Wayside Dr., Houston, Texas 77028. Rev. B. K. Williams will be officiating.
