Celebration of Life
1979 - 2021

On June 4, 1979, DeCedric M. Lewis was born to George Lewis and Norma Jean Thomas in Houston, Texas.  He was affectionately called "Ced".

DeCedric was united in marriage to Raven Benjamin on November 1, 2006. He and Raven travelled the world before making Houston, Texas their home.  He was a loving caring father and devoted to his children and family.

On November 9, 2021, DeCedric M. Lewis was called home.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Jean Thomas; his aunt Loretta; and 2 uncles, Eldra Lee Thomas, Sr. and M. L. Thomas.

He leaves to cherish many memories to:  his wife, Raven Lewis; 3 sons Ayden, Princeton, and Solomon; 2 daughters Lyndon, and Serenity; his father George Lewis; an aunt, and a host of nieces, nephews, grand nieces, other loving family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021.  Viewing starting at 10am followed by funeral service at 11 am, at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N. Wayside Dr., Houston, Texas 77028.  Kattie Jones, Eulogist.
