David R. Lane, born on November 29, 1955, in McCool, Mississippi, passed away on May 11, 2025, in Houston, Texas. He was the beloved son of John Henry Lane and Margie Tademy Lane.

David is survived by his loving daughter, Davida Lane, along with many other close relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N. Wayside Dr., Houston, Texas 77028. Viewing will take place from 10 am to 10:55 am, followed by the funeral service at 11 am.

Interment will be private.
