1958-2023

David Glenn Brown was born on May 22, 1958 to Maretha and Alfred Dennis in Jefferson Davis Hospital of Houston, TX.  David Brown was the oldest of five children, attended school at Tatum Mayflower Colored School, Northwood Middle School, and later graduated from Forest Brook High School in 1977.

David was baptized at an early age at Homestead Baptist Church here in Houston, TX.

David began working as a equipment repairer for Cameron Oil & Gas Company at the age of 18.  He would then move on into his career of work with Houston Chronicle as a pressman for two decades. While pursing his career with Houston Chronicle.

David met a great woman by the name of Vivian Roberson and would spend a decade of life with her.  During this time, they would share their love and on July 1, 1981 their daughter Sharron Roberson was born.

David would then continue the remainder of his life career as a independent worker in multiple fields.

David Brown proceeded in death by his parents Maretha and Alfred Dennis.

David leaves in his precious memory, his daughter Sharron Roberson and grandchild Landon Bourgeois of Houston, TX; three brothers and two sisters, nieces, nephews, many cousins and friends that he loved and adored.

Services for Mr. Brown will be held on Saturday July 15, 2023 at Great Commission Family Churich which is located on 12450 Crenshaw Road Houston, Texas 77044.
Viewing will be held at 10:00 am followed by a 11:00 am Funeral.
