D'Artanion Luke Roberts' Obituary
On September 29, 1964 a baby boy was born to Vincent and Norma Jean Roberts in Houston, Texas. They named him D'artanion Luke Roberts. He was Christened at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church.
D'artanion attended Fonwood Elementary School and graduated from Forest Brook High School. After, he attended Prairie View A&M University where he was a member of the Reserve Officer Training Corp (ROTC). He later enlisted in the US Marines Corps where he was in charge of issuing armor. He was soon promoted to Corporal. Following his military service he was employed with Trempley Point Leasing.
On November 11, 2017 D'artanion departed this life. He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Roberts.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother Norma Jean Roberts; his sister Michele Denise Perkins; nieces, Jeecole Charise Perkins, Jiesha Celese Perkins, and Jeri Cache' Perkins; brother in-law Jerry Lee Perkins; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Viewing from 10 to 10:55am with Funeral service immediately following at 11am. Services at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N.Wayside Dr., Houston, Texas 77028. Rev. Maceo Dillard will be officiating.
Interment will take place in Paradise North Cemetery (Houston, Texas).
