Daniel Louis Pickens, born on October 20, 1944, in Onalaska, Texas, to K. C. and Howard Pickens, passed away on September 24, 2025. He spent his early years in Onalaska before moving to Houston, Texas.

Daniel is survived by his two daughters, 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many other close relatives and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2024, with a viewing starting at 12:30 pm, followed by a 1:30 pm funeral service at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N. Wayside Dr., Houston, Texas 77028. Bishop Ed Johnson will officiate, and Rev. R. White will deliver the eulogy.

Daniel will be laid to rest in St. Andrews Cemetery, Onalaska, Texas.
