Cleveland Earl Jackson
1965 - 2022

Cleveland Earl Jackson aka "CJ" entered this world on April 11, 1965, to Cleveland Jackson and Margie Denning Jackson.  Growing up in Houston, he would attend Dodson Elementary and Smiley High School.  In his teenage years, he enlisted in the Army.  He completed his duty and received an honorable discharge, followed by a stint in working with radio (two-way) communications.

His interests included cooking barbeque, music, bible discussions, history and being outside for his early morning of solitude, followed by a medley of music after 5 am.

Cleveland is preceded in death by Cynthia Jackson (life friend), Linda Joyce Wheeler (sister), Ray Hicks (brother), special relatives Frank and Marvin.

Cleveland is survived by his children, Demetrius, Brandon, and Kyori Jackson; Margie D. Powell (mother); Rita, Paulette, Theresa, Suzy, and Shillecia (sisters); Stan Ricard (brother-in-law); Donald "Ray" Idlebird (brother for life); Patricia Thomas (sister for life); and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and close friends.

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 - 11 am, at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N. Wayside Dr., Houston, Texas.  Bishop Anthony Sumuel, Officiating.

Interment - Private.
