Sunset for Byron Wooten on Sunday, May 26, 2016. He will truly be missed by all. Byron was a mechanic at the historical landmark known as "Wooten's Paint and Body Shop in the Settegast area for over 38 years until his health began to fail. Byron was also known for being a member of the great Kashmere Stage Band under the leadership of the late Dr. Conrad Johnson. Byron leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife and daughter. Several other siblings and family members.
Viewing will be at 10:00 am and funeral service at 11:00 am. Both services will be Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Duncan Mortuary Chapel, 5806 N Wayside Dr., Houston, Texas 77028. Rev. Sammy Holcombe will be Officiating. Interment will be Golden Gate Cemetery.
